The 2 year project

Well! It is finished! I started this mermaid blanket two years ago and finally pulled it out of my bottomless project pile and got to it. It took about 10 hours to actually complete and I just love how it turned out!

The pictures I have added don’t do it justice. It looks sooo much prettier in person. I think I may need to take a photo class or two!!

After ripping out the tail countless times cuz it just wasn’t coming together this is what I ended up with. I just love the way the colors align and the shape – It’s perfect!

I decided to add some crocodile stitching to the top to add different texture and I am so glad I did! Just enough umph! Hearty eyes!!

I used 6 skeins of “I love this Yarn” from Hobby Lobby and it’s my favorite yarn to work with. It runs flawlessly through my fingers and works up beautifully. I highly recommend this yarn for any project you have!
